This week in math we counted raisins and collected data. We found out that the most raisins in a box is around 85 raisins.

In social studies we talked about rights that we have in the country and the rights and responsibilities that we have as students in our classroom at school.

In writing we started our unit in essay writing, and we made theses and wrote small moments that go with our theses.

In reading we have been reading with our reading groups, and having conversations and answering questions about the books that we're reading, such as who are the secondary characters and why they're in the books, and we answered what the social issues were in our books.

Also this week in science we saw what would would happen if we dropped crayons into water, we were asking if the water would change to the color of the crayon, if the crayon would sink or float and if the paper on the crayon would do anything to the water.

Finally this week Mrs. Ehtesham's son, Jahan came in and showed us pictures of all his nerf blasters, and he talked about the game that he and his friends play in free time at college, called humans vs. zombies. He also showed us a video of him and his friends playing the game while we ate lunch.
